Our Story
Hood Drip Sauce is more than just a sauce—it’s a reflection of where I am from and the flavors that shaped me along life's journey. Growing up in Maryland, I spent a lot of time working at my grandfather’s auto parts store in the heart of Washington D.C. My uncles would send me to pick up carryout from local spots, each with its own sauce—some with orange or deep red colors, rich with bold flavors that made every meal unforgettable. Those carryout runs taught me the power of a great sauce and sparked my love for flavor.
As I moved to Texas 20 years ago, I immersed myself in the BBQ culture and fell in love with the richness of Texas flavors. But I never lost my craving for the tangy, zesty sauces of the DMV. That’s when I decided to create a sauce that combined the best of both worlds.
